Abby's First

Today in school Abby drew her first family photo!! I love how David and I are bald!! I love this picture and the little girl who drew even more!!

Lead me....

I have been feeling very overwhelmed this last couple of weeks, just to give you a hint, my almost 2 year is screaming because she doesn't want to take a nap, my family is living with my Mom and Dad for the next 6 months and this week is our first ARD meeting with the school for Brody. They are going to determine if Brody is "special needs" enough for him to go come to school. We don't have a label yet for Brody but hopefully that will come this month. Sometimes I feel like God has given me too much to handle, its so hard to be a Mom to a special needs child and try and raise two other, while my husband is growing a business!! I feel a lot of the time I don't have enough of my to go around!! I need a ROCK and a SAVIOR on a daily base. 

This verse just speaks to me!!! I'm so thankful I have a savior who is my rock!! 

But I know I'm so blessed, look at the beautiful family the Lord blessed me with!! 

Our Weekend

We had a pretty laid back weekend ( those are the best!!). Friday night Daddy brought home dinner as usually( Daddy is in charge of Dinner on the weekends, mostly because he like to use his smoker, but Friday night he always brings something home). We ate dinner and then headed to go grocery shopping, came home put the kids to bed and then caught up on our shows :)

Friday, Daddy brought in some packages for the girls, their new clothes came in!!

Friday while we were shopping, I also picked up two shirts for Brody ( please know we love our son very much but my Husband is very picky about what the kids wear. Smocked dresses for the girls and boy clothes for Brody, David would have a COW if I bought Brody a smocked outfit)


Saturday, David started to smoke our dinner and we decided that while the smocked was smoking; we would hit up LifeTime for some swimming!! I love LifeTime, to us it's worth the price and they are so great with Brody!! I didn't get any pictures of us at LifeTime. We headed to get some lunch to bring home, took naps and then got ready for Church the next morning.


Abby loves to wear her hair curly, most Saturday nights you will find her like this!!


Sunday we got up and headed to Church, we had a great sermon. Our Pastor talked about how God wants restoration and how he can restore our relationship (and wants to) with us, we where in the book of John chapter 21. Great, Great sermon!! After Church we headed home ate lunch, took naps and then after we headed to Dripping Springs to Davids parent's house to get his bow ( for hunting), we drove around looking for house. Came home, put the kids to bed, David did some work and I read.

This week, we are hitting the gym, cleaning and on Thursday, the kids have eye appointments more on that later!!

Our Weekend

We had a pretty laid back weekend, Daddy had to set a temporary power at a remodel his company is doing Saturday morning. That afternoon and into the evening he did some electrical at my Mom's and Dad's (they sure do love having a Master Electrication in the family)

On Saturday the kids and I stayed HOME, cleaned house and washed clothes. After our crazy and busy week of VBS, our house was a WRECK!! We order pizza from Austin's Pizza ( the best!!) and just got ready for Church the next morning.

Sunday morning we got up and got ready and headed for doughnuts ( which I think might be our Sunday morning tradition!!) The kids wore some really cute 4th of July outfits that their Grammy and Papa bought them ( Thank You) I didn't get any pictures but tomorrow they are going to be wearing them for the 4th, so I will take some cute pictures tomorrow. Our Church had a beautiful 4th of July service? They presented the colors ( which I didn't get a picture of) we sang some beautiful songs about our Country and some even more beautiful songs praising our Lord. I had tears running down my face as we sang them. I'm so thankful for the brave men and women, who keep our Country free so I can worship my Lord Jesus!! I'm even more thankful to my Lord, that his love endures forever!!


After Church we grab some lunch and headed home for a rest time before our new-few Keegan's birthday party. We had a great time, ate pizza again and played a ton of games. By the time we left, we were tried!!

VBS 2012

We just got done with a full, fun week of VBS at our Church!! I was so blessed by this week!! Abby loved, loved it, she came home singing the songs, and telling me all about what she learned!! We did have to stay home one day this week bc Brody was getting overwhelmed and couldn't control himself. But after a day of rest and a special needs buddy he had a blast the rest of the week!!

This week the kids made arts and crafts,




Played with their friends, had bible stories, sang songs












and today they had their performance. I didn't get a picture of Abby singing bc she was scared and stood with her Grammy on staged, she doesn't like the spot light, like her Mommy does ;-). We had over 900 kids singing Praises to the Lord, It was so amazing to hear and gave me goose bumps!!

I scream, we scream, we all scream for

ICE CREAM!!!

Daddy went out and bought an "old fashion" ice cream maker with the kids today, while I was at a VBS meeting at Church. And we had our 1st batch to night!! It was so YUMMY!!

One of our favorite things do

Is to eat at Costo's!! We eat there at least once a week and it's cheap, 6 bucks feeds all 4 of us!! The kids get a hotdog and a frozen yogurt for dessert!!
