VBS 2012

We just got done with a full, fun week of VBS at our Church!! I was so blessed by this week!! Abby loved, loved it, she came home singing the songs, and telling me all about what she learned!! We did have to stay home one day this week bc Brody was getting overwhelmed and couldn't control himself. But after a day of rest and a special needs buddy he had a blast the rest of the week!!

This week the kids made arts and crafts,




Played with their friends, had bible stories, sang songs












and today they had their performance. I didn't get a picture of Abby singing bc she was scared and stood with her Grammy on staged, she doesn't like the spot light, like her Mommy does ;-). We had over 900 kids singing Praises to the Lord, It was so amazing to hear and gave me goose bumps!!

I scream, we scream, we all scream for

ICE CREAM!!!

Daddy went out and bought an "old fashion" ice cream maker with the kids today, while I was at a VBS meeting at Church. And we had our 1st batch to night!! It was so YUMMY!!

One of our favorite things do

Is to eat at Costo's!! We eat there at least once a week and it's cheap, 6 bucks feeds all 4 of us!! The kids get a hotdog and a frozen yogurt for dessert!!

Zoo!!

This morning, Daddy surprised us with a special trip to the Zoo!! We haven't gone to the Zoo yet, but we had a BLAST!! All 3 kids did really well, I was really weird about Brody getting overwhelmed and acting out. But he loved it, as did Abby and Emma-Kate!! Went spent most of the day there, and it was HOT!! Summer is in full force here in TX!!

Happy Birthday Abigail!!!

I can't believe my 1st baby that made me a Mommy is 4!! I'm so thankful that the Lord choose me to be her Mommy!! Abby is funny, smart, sweet, willing to help, sassy, loves her family and lions. Best of all she loves Jesus!!

We started off the morning With Abby waking me up at 5am to tell me that the Birthday Fairy came. We walked to her room, where she showed me all the Birthday decor. I put her back to bed and then when it was light outside, Daddy and I went to get our Birthday Girl!!


We all got up and headed to get Birthday doughnuts!!

We headed out for Birthday lunch at Double Dave's, Birthday Girl's choice.





After lunch and a nap, we headed to my parent's house for dinner, Birthday cake and presents.

The Birthday Fairy

Growing up on our Birthday Eve, the Birthday Fairy always payed us a visit!! The Birthday Fairy came into our bedroom and decorated for your Birthday. As we got older the Birthday Fairy did more and more!! Growing up we always looked forward to the Birthday Fairy visit and I'm so happy to be able to share this Birthday tradition with my kids!!

A fun Friday

Today we had a pre Birthday celebration for Abby at my best friend's house, she has 2 kids that are kids ages ( I'm so thankful I can do life with her) this morning we headed to her pool and then back to her house for lunch, birthday cupcakes and playing!!
